Water-Based Wood Floor Finishes

Choose Among Basic Coatings, Norton, Vermont Natural Coatings, and DuraSeal

Each type of wood flooring finish has unique benefits and appearances. Most water-based finishes are clear, emit lower VOCs, and resist turning yellow over time. Typically, you should apply two coats of a water-based sealer and two coats of finish and you can recoat every two to three hours. It’s important to consult each individual product for exact instructions.

Our selection of products will create lasting beauty and protect your flooring surface. Choose products from top manufacturers, including Basic Coatings, Bona, Vermont Natural Coatings, DuraSeal, Loba, and PoloPlaz. Sheen options include gloss, satin, semi-gloss, and matte.
