City Floor Supply Return Policy

To return eligible merchandise purchased from City Floor Supply (CFS), a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) is required. Please contact a CFS sales representative for assistance obtaining an RMA.

Any order claims and/or discrepancies must be reported to CFS within 5 days of receiving the product.

Eligible Stock Merchandise

Unless otherwise stated below, eligible stock merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Credit will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, less a 30% restocking fee.

Stock wood flooring may be returned within 30 days of delivery and is subject to a 30% restocking fee.

CFS cannot accept returns on any stock items after 30 days. 

Final-Sale Items

CFS does not accept returns on the following products:

  • LVP flooring and LVP accessories, including treads and moldings
  • Machines or tools
  • Powders or leveling compounds
  • Special-order wood flooring or accessories, including special-order treads, risers, and moldings

Small Package Returns

For eligible small-package returns, customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to shipping any material back. Returns shipped without an RMA may be refused or delayed.

  • Return Shipping Costs: If material was ordered improperly, including incorrect item, size, quantity, or specification, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Packaging Requirements: All material being returned must be securely packaged and shipped back in packaging that is equal to or better than the original packaging.
  • Damage in Transit: Customers should retain shipping documentation and tracking information until the return has been fully processed. Any damage occurring during return shipment due to inadequate packaging may affect the amount of the credit or refund issued.
  • Photos or Videos: Before an RMA is issued, we may request photos and/or videos of the material, packaging, labels, and/or the condition of the item.

Additional Return Requirements

Products received by CFS for credit are not eligible for return and may be rejected if they meet any of the following conditions:

  • The product was not purchased from City Floor Supply
  • The product has been damaged or altered in any way, excluding manufacturer defects and damage that occurred during shipping
  • The product is not returned in its original packaging or is missing original accessories

CFS will gladly assist in any way to help our flooring professionals obtain “special order” products for their consumers; however, we cannot accept returns on such products. As such, please confirm product details carefully before placing an order. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
